Celebrate

Sunday night at Santa Monica Power Yoga (West) is a yoga event featuring live accoustic music throughout the practice. We open class with the Gayatri Mantra (printable below). The 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month feature musical accompaniment by Scott Roewe, an award winning composer, and a founding member of the Wild Colonials (Geffen Records), and Josh Balbien, who played in the Soul Shaker, among other groups, and has played guitar in multiple genres of style for over 25 years.

The 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month will feature Zat Baraka. As a musician of 25 years, he plays various instruments, and is an exceptional singer songwriter. He has a deep love for world music, especially Indian Chanting, and has been the lead musician with the kirtan band supporting Guru Ma Kali for years.
